Shasta has been providing a rigorous and relevant curriculum for Redding student’s since 1899. They have one of the most diverse and highest scoring Advanced Placement program in Northern California, coupled with an award-winning music (instrumental and vocal) program and a highly competitive athletic program. Shasta has a highly qualified staff that truly cares about their students’ education and a counseling staff that works tirelessly to provide academic, career, college and social counseling.
Shasta’s Mission is to provide as many students as possible a nutritious, appealing and delicious breakfast and lunch in order to enhance learning and performance while establishing positive lifelong eating habits. All of their meals are nutrient analyzed and meet Federally mandated guidelines. Their menus offer three to four main choices daily and all meals come with fresh vegetables and fruit as well as low-fat milk. Shasta’s staff is professional, super friendly and dedicated to the best service on earth. Lastly, their facilities are clean, and the atmosphere is fun and upbeat.
