William Collenso College
Napier is a city in the northeast corner of the North Island, with a population of approximately 60,000 inhabitants. Situated in a wine region on the seafront, there are wine tasting and gastronomy centers galore. The city was re-erected after an earthquake in 1929 with the architectural style of the time – Art Deco.William Colenso School has approximately 800 students. It features a climbing wall and classes in trekking and outdoor education. It places emphasis on sports, arts, music and dance with a great tradition of Maori studies.
